| ARTWORK/COMPUTER TRANSMISSION |
|
| Accurate Dial & Nameplate, Inc. is equipped with a state-of-the-art
computerized Art Department and is capable of accepting your graphic images on an IBM-compatible
computer disc. In order for our Art Department to access and fully utilize your graphic image, the
following is a quideline to refer to when submitting a disc to Accurate Dial. |
|
| IBM USERS |
|
| Accurate Dial is capable of importing a number of different IBM-compatible
file formats. Acceptable file formats include file from the following programs. |
|
Photoshop
PageMaker
Autocad |
|
Microsoft Word
Word Perfect
CorelDraw |
|
|
| For maximum results, our Art Department prefers files in the CorelDraw format. |
|
| MAC USERS |
|
| While Accurate Dial utilizes IBM-compatible computers,
we are quite capable of using graphics created on a Macintosh computer. In order for
us to utilize MAC files, you must first convert files before sending them to
Accurate Dial. This process is actually easier than it sounds. Simply "convert the
text to curves" in your program before exporting your file. Then, save the file as an
IBM-compatible format on a diskette formatted for an IBM-compatible computer. (Other
accpetable formats are *.EPS, *.AL, *.JPG, *.TIFF, and *.DXF) |
|
| FONTS |
|
With over 1500 True Type & Adobe Type One fonts, you are
assured we can produce your graphic image to your specifications. If, by chance, we
do no stock your font, you have two options available:
You must "convert the text to curves" in your program before exporting your file
(if your program supports this option)
Or, supply your fonts by copying them onto a disc for our use. |
|
|
| Another convenience Accurate Dial offers is the option to
send us your graphic image file via e-mail. Simply attach your file to an e-mail message
and send it to us. (Note: If you are sending more than one file, please send each file
individually, not as a batch file.) |
